Back in Ukraine, in my freshman year in High School, I started collecting my very first recipes! First, from family members and then from food magazines with a dream of one day I’ll be cooking most of them if not all of them to my future family. I loved imagining the ingredients I’ve never seen or heard of, but for some reason, I knew that recipe will be delicious.

The recipe binder I started when I was only 15 I brought with me to the US and kept coming back to it until I decided to let it go off three years ago, somedays I do regret about my decision still. Needless to say, fast forward to now, I own dozen of amazing cookbooks and with help of Pinterest and Instagram have boards upon boards to come back when I want to cook for my family.
It all started with food in my life and recipe binder, but once we had our little family and friends, my mind started spinning how to make my home cozy, inviting for my husband and kids. Someone once told me, imagine yourself 80 years old, how wold you look at your life that you already lived? How I nurtured, what has been given to me by my heavenly Father who is in heaven. Obviously, it took years of shaping who I am and it’s not even close to being done, thats the whole point of it. As a wife, mom, sister and a friend I want to create a life for my family that is meaningful, full of life and very personal to us.
Also, I am very excited to share House and Blooms Blog with you all, hope it serves as inspiration and will help with everyday life and any other events in your lives! Thank you for being here!!
