People often see things online especially on Pinterest or Instagram and think it’s impossible to achieve it in their own home. And sometimes it’s could be the fact. However, what I’m about to show you is easy, simple, and most importantly is fun!
If you haven’t created your cocoa station set up for this holiday season yet, it is a perfect time to do it now. Also, it is fun for the whole family especially kiddos.
Creating a cocoa station is one of the easiest and at the same time beautiful set ups you can have this Christmas time besides your other decor 🙂
Let me show you how you can accomplish this in three easy steps:
- Choose a spot in your kitchen. Coffee corner could be a perfect spot to start the cocoa station at. Also, it can be as small or as big as your kitchen counter allows to do it.
- Gather your list and go shopping! Here are some staples that I like to get:
- Cocoa Powder
- Mini Marshmallows
- Candy Cane
- Caramel Candy or Caramel Sauce
Then from here you can go as fancy as your taste desires. I like to get Wafer Sticks, Chocolate covered dried fruits or nuts etc.
3. When setting up the cocoa station, there is no right or wrong way to do it! It is important to have fun with it! I like to start with a Lazy Suzan, it is easy to use and access everything I’d need for hot cocoa. Also, I love buying small tiny plates, saucers, vases that can be filled with all the items for the station to make it even more festive. Then, I transfer all cocoa powder, marshmallows, candies, cookies and set it up the way I like it!
I told you it was as easy as three simple steps. You can refill it as many times as you’d like and enjoy it even beyond holidays and the whole winter season!
